4 pieces sandwich steak (about 6 ounces each)
Dijon mustard
Salt
Pepper
Dill pickle, sliced into long, thin strips
Bacon
Onion
1½ cups beef broth
4 Peppercorns
1/2 bay leaf
Cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Lay steak on flat surface and spread each with Dijon mustard, salt and pepper. Lay a pickle slice on top of sandwich steak. On top of pickle, lay bacon (uncooked) and then sliced raw onions. Roll up like jelly roll and secure with string. Heat oil in heavy sauce pan. Add steaks and brown on all sides. Pour beef broth over this along with peppercorns and bay leaf. Cover with lid and simmer for 1 hour, 20 minutes. Remove steak from pan. Blend cornstarch with a small amount of cold water. Add to broth mixture. Bring to a boil and cook until thickened and bubbly. Serve gravy on the side.
