1 1/4 cup sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
5 squares of unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar and milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; simmer 6 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat. Add chocolate and stir to blend. Stir in butter and vanilla. Chill until mixture begins to thicken. Beat until thick and creamy.

Written in Aunt Patty's hand, I know Grandma loved this recipe too. It is the BEST chocolate frosting. It does take some time but it is so worth it!
