1 JAR OLIVES
1 JAR BANANA PEPPERS (OPTIONAL)
1 BAG RAISINS
1 BOUNCH CILANTRO
1 BAG OF BANANA LEAF
1 ROLL OF FOIL
6 CUPS INSTANT CORN FLOUR (MASECA)
10 CUPS WATER
1 LB BUTTER

1. CUT THE MEAT IN CUBES, CHOP GARLIC AND MIX WITH VINEGAR,SALT,BLACK PEPPER,,CUMIN, AND ANATO PASTE, ADD TO THE MEAT, NOW HEAT UP A POT AN PUT THE MEAT TO COOK, LET IT COOK IN THEIR ON OIL IF IS TO DRY JUST ADD A LITTLE BIT OF WATER. WHILE THIS IS COOKING STAR PEELING YOUR POTATOES, CUT THEM IN SLICES AND KEEP THEM IN WATER SO THEY DON'T GET BROWN. CUT ALL THE OTHER INGREDIENT THE SAME WAY.
2. NOW THAT YOUR MEAT IS COOK AND YOUR INGREDIENTS ARE CUP MOVE ON TO YOUR NEXT STEP WHICH IS PREPARING THE DOUGH.
3. PUT THE CORN FLOUR IN A BIG BOWL OR POT SLOWLY ADD THE WATER UNTIL YOU GET A RUNNING CONSISTENCY ADD BUTTER. YOUR WATER HAS TO BIT WARN SO YOUR BUTTER CAN MELT ADD SALT TO TASTE. WHEN YOUR MEAT IS COOL GET YOUR LIQUID OUT AND ADD IT TO THE DOUGH TO GIVE MORE FLAVOR.
4. CUT YOUR BANANA LEAF AND WASH LET THEM DRY, CUT YOUR FOIL ABOUT 18 TO 20 INCHES LONG, NOW THE ALL IS PREPARED AND READY IS TIME TO BUILD YOUR NACATAMAL.
TO ASSEMBLE YOUR NACATAMAL START BY PUTTING THE FOIL DOWN ON FLAT SURFACE ON TOP OF FOIL PUT THE BANANA LEAF, SERVING SPOON OF DOUGH, ABOUT TABLE SPOON RICE, MEAT AND SLICE OF POTATOES ON TOP OF THAT PUT ONION,GREEN PEPPER,TOMATOES, HOT PEPPER, 2 OLIVES, SOME RAISING AND A BRANCH OF CILANTRO. FOLD FOIL AND TURN THE ENDS TO MAKE IT T TIGHT LIKE FORMING A PILLOW, PUT THEN ON A BIG POT ADD WATER AND BOIL FOR 1 HOUR.

IT LOOK LIKE A LONG TIME FOR PREPARING THIS MEAL, BUT IF YOU HAVE A COUPLE OF GOOD FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER TO HELP YOU WILL BE NICE. IT COULD SOUND LIKE A LOT OFF WORK BUT IS WORSTED YOU HAVE EVERYTHING IN ONE MEAL. IT TASTE WOUNDERFUL. THIS IS THE WAY I PREPARE IT AND MY KIDS ALWAYS HAVE 2 OR 3 BECAUSE THEY LOVE IT. I LOVE COOKING AND THIS IS A TRADITIONAL NICARAGUA TYPICAL COUSINE.
