1 lb. ground beef
3/4 cup chopped onion
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1/4 cup milk
2 cups Bisquick
3/4 cup water
1 cup shredded cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef and onion and drain. Stir in soup and milk. Mix baking mix and water and spread in greased 13x9 inch baking dish or pan. Spread beef mixture over batter. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 30 minutes at 400º

I got this recipe off the back of a Bisquick box back in 1985 and it was the first "meal" I made for Dad after we were married. It was a little strange ...and to this day we still laugh about my "hamburger cake"...though it's real name is Quick Cheeseburger Bake. I had to add this to the cookbook for old time's sake LoL
