8 potatoes - should equal about 8 cups when cooked & cubed
1 cube butter
1 onion
3/4 cup flour
5 cups milk
1 lb chopped ham
1 pkg Swiss cheese
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
5-6 slices bread
2-3 tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Boil potatoes. Cool in cold water then peel and cube. Cook onion in melted butter until tender then add flour and stir. Add milk and cook over med to med high stirring constantly until it boils. Add salt and pepper, cheese and ham. Mix with potatoes and put in a sprayed dish. Butter bread and cut into cubes. Put on top of potatoes . Bake at 400º until bread is toasted.
