1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
Apples, peeled and sliced
1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
2 tbsp. sugar (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream butter and sugar. Add dry ingredients and mix. Beat eggs in seperate bowl and add 3/4 to butter sugar mixure, reserving the rest. Press half of the dough in the bottom of a 9x13" pan. Spread sliced apples on top of the dough. Sprinkle apples with cinnamon and sugar. flatten the rest of the dough and place it over top of the apple layer. Brush remaining egg evenly over dough. Bake for 30-40 minute, until golden brown. Do not underbake.
