Chicken, rabbit or pork, cut in pieces
potatoes, pared and cubed
minced onion
salt and pepper
biscuit dough

Directions:
Directions:
In the bottom of a depp, greased stewpan or pot, place a layer of potatoes. Add a layer of meat pieces, onion, salt, and pepper. Add another layer of potatoes. Cover with strips of biscuit dough. Repeat until the stewpan is 3/4 full. Add hot water to the level of the last layer. Top with a round of biscuit dough about 1/2 in. thick. Make an incision in the centre of the biscuit dough to allow steam to escape, and cook on the top of the stove (on low heat) for 4-5 hours.
