3/4 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 egg
2 T. melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 425º F. Mix together the dry and wet ingredients separately, then mix together, beating well. pour into a greased 8x8 in. pan and bake 20 min. or until an inserted toothpick comes out dry. This recipe does NOT double into a 9x13 very well... the middle will be sticky when the edges are done.
