I don't have an exact recipe. As for the ingredients, I begin cooking, takes and add more seasonings or liquid if needed.

Start out by lightly browning your meat
1 lb of port short ribs or any good cut of port, with bone.
For the chicken use whatever pieces you like, but remember the bone is what gives your sauce its great flavor.
Short ribs are also a good meat to use.
You can make a great meat ball by using 1/2 pork to 1/2 beef, just add bread crumbs, eggs, garlic, parsley, onion, and Parmesan cheese. You will brown them in a little oil or in the oven. Start your tomato sauces by cooking all your vegetables except the fennel and bay leaves in a little olive oil. Add your tomato paste and the sugar. Cook, stirring for 5 minutes then add to the pot with the canned tomatoes and water and begin cooking. Add all of your meat, except the meatballs and slowly simmer for approximately 1 hour. After the first hour add the meat balls and continue to cook another hour. Putting them in to soon will cause them to fall apart. We have always added boiled eggs to our sauce. You should boil the eggs first, remove the shells and add them to the sauce. They are so good!!!!

The sauce freezes great and makes it so easy for future meals.
