Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Corned Beef brisket
1 onion
5 cloves garlic
Kitchen Bouquet browning sauce
5 carrots peeled and sliced
1 head of cabbage sliced in wedges

Directions:
Directions:
Remove brisket from package. Put the juice and flavor packet into a saucepan and set aside. Brush meat with Kitchen Bouquet and braise in skillet 5 minutes on each side. Place in baking pan and cover with sliced onion and garlic and 1/3 cup water. Cover with lid or foil and bake at 275º for 5 hours. This will fall apart, it gets sooo tender. Add cut up cabbage and sliced carrots and water to the saucepan with the juice and flavor packet, salt, and pepper and cook until fork tender. Serve on the side with the corned beef.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I've had corned beef fixed lot's of ways and this is the BEST! This with some Irish Soda Bread and you've got a St. Patrick's day dinner. Well, maybe a little Irish Potato Soup and some kind of green dessert would complete the table, just sayin.
