1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1 Tbsp margarine
1/4 cup cornstarch
6 Tbsp lemon juice
3 Tbsp cold water
1 tsp lemon peel
3 egg yolks
2 Tbsp milk

3 egg whites
6 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Bake pie shell at 425º for about 10 minutes or until brown.
Cook all other ingredients (except for meringue).
Pour into pie shell.
Beat egg whites-gradually adding sugar and lemon juice-until VERY stiff.
Put meringue on top of lemon filling.
Bake at 375º for about 20 minutes.
