1 2 pound bag frozen hash brown potatoes
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon salt
dash pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 12 ounce carton sour cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups corn flakes, crushed
1/4 cup melted butter
paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
In large mixing bowl stir together all except the last three ingredients. Pour into buttered 9x13 pan and top with crushed corn flakes, drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with paprika for added color. Bake for 1 hour.

This was another much requested dish for our Palm Sunday brunch. We used to get together the night before and prepare all the casseroles. It was a messy, good time. Once somebody accidently bought frosted flakes instead of corn flakes. Luckily we discovered it after making the 1st casserole.
