1 1/4 cup cooking oil
2 cups sugar
3 large eggs
3 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 cups raw sliced apples
1 1/2 cups pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla

Frosting
1 8 ounce block of cream cheese
1/2 stick butter, softened
1 box confectionary sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 325º,
Mix cake ingredients in the order listed and pour into greased 13x9 cake pan and cook for one hour.

Combine all frosting ingredients and mix until smooth and creamy. Spread over cooled. cake.
