1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1-2 tablespoons dry mustard
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1/2 cup butter
Up to ¼ cup water
1 1/2 to 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon paprika

Directions:
Directions:
In a food processor, add flour, dry mustard, and cayenne. Pulse to blend.
Add softened butter and pulse again.
Add cheese and pulse.
With the food processor running add water.
The dough should form into a ball.
On a floured surface gently kneed the dough and then roll out to ¼ inch (or a little less) thick.
Cut into pieces about 1 ½ inches long and 1 inch wide.
Sprinkle with paprika or cayenne pepper (optional).
On a cookie tray covered with parchment paper bake at 350 º F until the squares are puffy and the bottoms slightly brown.
These freeze well and then you heat them in the oven for 5-10 min before serving.
