2 6 oz cans minced clams
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 1/2 cups chopped celery
1/3 cup onion chopped
2 1/2 cups peeled and diced potatoes
3/4 cup melted butter
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup flour
1 quart 1/2 and 1/2 (or 2 cups cream and 2 cups milk)

Directions:
Directions:
Put the vegetables in a pot. Drain clams and pour juice over vegetables. Add enough water to barely cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until done. In a different pan, melt the butter, add salt, pepper, sugar and flour, stir until it forms a ball and then add the 1/2 and 1/2. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly with a whisk until it boils. Remove from heat. Stir it into the undrained vegetables and clams. Season to taste.
