2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/4 - 1/3 cup cocoa
1tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 cup butter
1 cup water
1/2 cup milk (add 1/2 tsp lemon juice to the milk)
1 tsp vanilla

Frosting:
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup cocoa
6 Tbsp milk
4 cup powdered sugar
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 tsp vanilla

Cake:
Combine sugar, flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl, Mix well. Heat butter and water in saucepan until boiling. Pour over dry ingredients and mix. Beat in milk, eggs, and vanilla. Pour thin batter in a greased and floured 10X15 inch pan. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes.

Frosting:
Combine butter, cocoa, and milk in saucepan. Heat to boiling. Pour over sugar and nuts. Add vanilla. Mix well. Spread over hot cake.
