12 eggs (at room temperature), 1 ½ cups vegetable oil
1 ¾ cups sugar, ¼ tsp salt
1 tsp anisette, anise or vanilla, 3 ½ to 4 cups flour.
Waffle iron

Directions:
Beat eggs well (5min) until very frothy (high speed with mixer)
Mix in by hand, sugar, salt, oil slowly, then flour and the anisette, anise or vanilla. If too runny add more flour but not more than 4 cups.
Spray waffle iron plates with Pam, heat until hot and pour 1 tbsp on each plate. Remove when lightly browned. Makes approximately. 6 dozen tie plates. Store in a cool dry place in a cardboard box on paper towels.
