3 eggs
1/2 c. shortening
1 pinch salt
2 c. warm milk
1 cake of yeast
flour

Mix and let rise. Punch down. Roll and cut out. Raise again.

We use to make these as little girls growing up. Mom would heat up the old fry daddy and Linda and I would fry the doughnuts and drown them in sugar. I have never tasted anything so wonderful! - Christy
