Saltines
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
Chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Line a jelly roll pan with aluminum foil. Place saltines side by side on foil –with sides touching. Bring butter and sugar to a boil. Carefully pour over crackers. Bake at 350 for 10 - 15 minutes or until golden brown. Top with chocolate chips immediately upon removal from oven. Let chips melt for a minute or two and then spread over toffee layer. Refrigerate or place in freezer until chocolate is set. Break into pieces. Can vary with brown sugar, graham crackers and different flavors of chocolate chips. Can top chocolate layer with chopped nuts before chilling.
