1 tablespoon butter
3 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and cut into 1/2 inch chunks
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon allspice
1 pinch nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped and roasted green chile
(add or subtract amount, depending on taste and heat preference)

2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup condensed milk
3/4 cup sugar
2 tsp. salt

Directions:
In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, melt butter and cook apples until soft. Turn down heat to low. Stir in cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and vanilla. Add green chilies. Mix to combine. Transfer to a bowl and set aside to cool.

In a separate bowl, combine cream, condensed milk, sugar, and salt. Whisk to combine.

Stir in apple/green chile mix to cream/milk mixture. Refrigerate overnight.

Transfer to an ice cream maker and spin according to the manufacturer's instructions.
