15 oz. Raisin Bran
5 c. flour
1 c. oil
3 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 quart buttermilk
5 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a very large bowl, mix the Raisin Bran, sugar, flour, salt, and baking soda. Add the oil, buttermilk and eggs. Mix well and store in a covered container in the refrigerator. Bake at 400 F. for 15-20 minutes, as needed.

Doris McLaughlin was a bridge friend of my grandmother and this recipe has been passed down to me. Keep them in the refrigerator and bake them one or two at a time.....they really can last for 6 weeks!
