3/4 cup diced green chile of desired pungency
3 tbsp. melted butter or margarine
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups cooked cubed chicken breast or 1 (13 oz.) can of chicken breast
2 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. chopped chives or onion
2 tbsp. chopped pimento
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
3/4 cup seasoned croutons, crushed
1 (8 oz.) can of crescent dinner rolls

Preheat oven to 350°.

In medium bowl, blend cream cheese and 2 tbsp. butter (reserve 1 tbsp.) until smooth.

Add next 6 ingredients plus the green chile. Mix well.

Separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles. Firmly press mixture onto center of each rectangle. Fold corners of dough to the top center of chicken mixture. Twist slightly and seal edges. Brush tops with reserved 1 tbsp butter. Dip into crouton crumbs.

Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
