1 cup Japanese sushi rice
1 package of sushi nori (seaweed) (optional)
1 can of tuna
1 T Mayonnaise
1 large egg -hard boiled
1 tsp. Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
1.Wash rice in a strainer. The water will be cloudy. Rinse in cold water until
water is clear.
2. Cook rice using package directions or in a rice cooker.
3. Remove rice fro heat, cover with plastic, and cool for 30-40 min.

To make filling:

1. Open tuna and drain water. Place in mixing bowl
2. Slice hard-boiled egg and add to tuna
3. Add mayonnaise and Parmesan cheese. Stir until ingredients are mixed.

Rice Balls

1. Wet hands to keep rice fro sticking.
2. Shape rice into a partial ball. Make a hole for filling.
3. Add tuna salad filling.
4. Cover filling with more rice.
5. Shape into a triangle or circle with your hands.
6. Wrap seaweed halfway around the outside.

All of the ingredients can be purchased in the supermarket. Seaweed (nori) and rice can be found in the international foods section. Be sure to buy Japanese sushi rice. This rice is very sticky so it easily holds together.
