8 slices white bread, trimmed
8 slices Old English cheese
1/4 c. butter
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. dry mustard
2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
In a greased casserole, alternate layers of bread and cheese and pour melted butter over the top.

Beat eggs well; stir in salt, pepper, mustard and milk and pour over ingredients in casserole. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours.

One hour before serving: Put covered casserole into a 350 F. oven and bake for 30 minutes.

Uncover and cook 30 minutes more until top is golden and puffy.
