2 cups sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
2 1/2 cups applesauce
3 cups White Lilly plain four
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup cut up candied cherries
1 cup white raisins
1 tbsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350º

Grease and flour tube pan and set aside.

Cream sugar and butter well. Add applesauce. Sift flour, soda and cinnamon together. Add nuts, dates, cherries and raisins to flour mixture and mix well. Add this to the butter/sugar mixture; add vanilla and stir well. Pour batter into tube pan and bake 1 hour and 30 minutes.
