3 1/2 to 4 cups plain White Lilly Flour
2 1/2 cups wheat flour
2 packages dry yeast
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 cups honey
3 tbsp. melted Crisco
1 cup milk
3/4 cup water
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º

Combine all dry ingredients and mix well. In sauce pan heat milk, water, honey and Crisco until warm. Pour into mixing bowl. Beat in half dry ingredients, beat in egg then beat for 5 minutes. Add remaining dry ingredients and turn out on floured board. Knead with extra flour until elastic. Place in greased bowl. Brush top with melted butter. Let rise in warm place about 1 hour. Punch down and divide into 2 greased loaf pans. Let rise approximately 1 hour. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
