2 cups flour
1/3 cup corn starch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup lard
1/2 cup margarine
1 tablespoon of vinegar
approximately 8 tablespoons ice water or cold 7-up

Directions:
Directions:
1 combine flour, salt, baking powder and sugar.
2 grate or chop frozen lard and butter. Add to well-mixed flour. using a pastry blender or fingers, mix lard and butter into dry ingredients until dough is in pea-sized crumbs. Add ice cold water, a little at a time, mixing just enough to blind the mixture.
3. about 1/3 of the pastry an be rolled for each shell. 1/4 of pastry will result in a thinner crust if desired.
