4 cups of rice
stick of butter
salt and pepper to taste

Filling
Large can of crushed tomatoes
1 onion
about a 1/2 cup of raisins
1/3 bag of baby peas
salt pepper & parsley and basil
1 lb ground beef ( meat crumbles if you want)

Directions:
Cook rice in a covered pot salt do not remove cover for 20 min. After it is cooked let rice cool for about 15 min then add the stick of butter. Mix it and forget about it.
Brown meat, drain. set aside. In a little olive oil brown diced onion then add tomatoes 1/2 can of water seasonings meat. Cook for 1 hour then add peas and raisins. Cook another few minutes until peas are done. Put a large strainer over the rice and pour tomatoes sauce in strainer until all sauce goes into rice. Mix sauce into rice let cool enough so you can handle it.
Form rice into a ball fill with appox 1 tablespoon of filling cover hole with rice. Making rice ball into a tight ball Beat eggs one at a time, dip in egg then bread crumbs. Deep fry until golden brown
