4 Quart
2 qt. milk
2 eggs
2 Full T. cornstarch
2 c. sugar
1 can canned milk
1 T. vanilla flavoring
(1/2 c. cocoa, if chocolate use a little more sugar)

4 qt. milk
4 eggs
4 Full T. cornstarch
3 1/2-4 c. sugar
2 cans canned milk
2 T. vanilla flavoring
(1 c. cocoa, if chocolate use little more sugar)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, cornstarch, cocoa & sugar with a little milk. Heat milk (about 1 qt.) & pour egg/sugar mixture into it. Heat till just till boils. Cool. Add remaining milk & flavoring just before freezing.

Sometimes I add a box of vanilla or chocolate cook pudding before cooking the custard. Makes richer flavor.
