1 cup of butter, softened
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 3/4 cup of brown sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pkg. of semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup of milk chocolate chips
3 oz. of bitter chocolate
1 cup toffee brickle

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl mix butter, shortening, sugars, and vanilla until fluffy. Beat in eggs. In another bowl combine the flour, soda, and salt. Add dry ingredients to mixture. Stir in the baking chips and brickle.

Take a teaspoonful of dough and drop on cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 12-14 minutes. Take out of oven and cool for 1 minute. Remove to wire rack. ©

I was watching a Paula Deen cooking show and she made these cookies. I was looking for something a little different then just a chocolate chip cookie. These cookies are delicious and I keep this as one of my recipes.
I omit the bitter chocolate.
