1 quart cucumbers
1 quart celery
1 quart onions
1 quart cabbage.
1 red pepper
2 green peppers
1/2 cup pickling salt
5 cups vinegar plus 1 cup for mixing
6 cups white sugar
2/3 cup flour
1 tablespoon turmeric
1 tablespoon celery seed
1 tablespoon mustard seed

Directions:
Directions:
1. peel cucumbers, take out seeds. Put vegetables though a blender to chop coarsely. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup pickling salt. Let stand for a few hours. Rinse and drain well.
2. sauce: Mix flour and turmeric with a cup of vinegar. Bring to a boil. Add 5 cups vinegar, 6 cups sugar, celery seeds, mustard seeds. Bring to boil; the add vegetables. Cook for 10 minutes and then put into jars. Tighten lids onto jars. No need to process in water bath or canner.
