3 apples
1/4 lbs (115g) breadcrumbs
3oz. (95g) caster sugar
3oz(95g) currants
Salt=20
Nutmeg
Rind of half a lemon
Juice of a whole lemon

Pare,core and mince apples, beat the eggs, moisten the rest of the ingredients with these and beat well, put the mix into a buttered mould or basin, tie down with a cloth and boil for 1 and a half hours, serve hot with custard.
