1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. molasses
2 1/2 c. crumbs from stale cake or cookies
2 c. flour
1/4 t. salt
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. cloves
1 t. soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs and molasses. Beat well. Stir in crumbs. Sift dry ingredients and add to batter. Roll ball of dough to size desired. Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes.
