For the cake
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking soda
5 tbsp. cocoa powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 c water
1 1/2 c mayonnaise
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
For the glaze
1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 c. semisweet chocolate chips

For the cake:
Preheat the oven to 350º.

Sift the dry ingredients together. Pour in the water, mayonnaise, and vanilla, and beat on high.

Pour into a greased 9x13 pan and bake for 25 minutes.

While cake is baking, make glaze. boil the sugar, butter, and milk for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips. Stir til smooth. Pour over cake while still hot.
