1 cup yellow quick grits
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (sharp as you like)
1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
18-20 medium shrimp (precooked or uncooked)
1/2 smoked turkey sausage or kielbasa cut into slices
4 slices off bacon cut into small pieces
2 cloves of garlic finely chopped
1 T of butter Unsalted
salt
pepper
Old Bay seasoning.

Bring chicken broth to a boil. Add grits. Turn heat to low, cook grits for 5-6 min. Add cream & cheese, keep heat on low. Stir until creamy consistency is reached. Add salt to taste. Add additional cream to keep grits at correct consistency or for desired creaminess.

In a medium sauce pan add bacon to medium heat. Cook until firm texture(fat rendered) Add sausage and cook until carmelized (slightly brown). Add butter, garlic, and shrimp. Cook until shrimp pink (if using uncooked shrimp make sure you cook all the way through, if using cooked shrimp just make sure the shrimp get warm through). Add salt, pepper, and Creole spice to taste. Add grits to plate and make a birds nest with shrimp and sausage mixture in middle. Enjoy.
