1/2 lb. of butter
1 1/2 to 2 cups of sugar
3 eggs
1 c. banana pulp (3-4 bananas)
1/2 tsp. of salt
1/2 tsp. of baking soda dissolved in 1/4 - 2/3 cup of milk
1 tsp. of baking powder
3 c. flour

Bear in mind that my grandmother seldom wrote down her recipes, so the ingredient measurements were a little "fluid" to say the least. Nana would make this for all family occasions and was always shipping it to my Uncle Bill who was in the service. It was a big hit with his buddies. Nana O'Shea passed away before Kevin was born. I spent many years in her loving care.

Mix ingredients together and bake in a large spring form pan for 50 - 60 minutes at 350 F.
