4 quarts cucumbers sliced thin
1/3 cup Morton's canning salt
2-3 trays ice cubes


4 1/2 cups sugar
3 cups vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 tbsp mixed pickling spice
Directions:
Directions:
pour 1/3 cup Morton's salt and ice cubes over cucumbers, let stand until all ice is melted. Once ice is melted stir cucumbers and drain.

mix last 4 ingredients together and pour over cucumbers and bring to a boil. once boiling, turn down heat then can.
