1 c all purpose flour
1 c bread flour
1 t baking soda
1 t salt
1 c butter, softened
½ c sugar
1 c brown sugar
1 t espresso powder
2 t vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Combine flours, baking soda, espresso powder, and salt in a small bowl. Beat butter, sugars, and vanilla in large bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden. Cool for 2 minutes.
