Single Crust


Ingredients:

1¼ c flour
½ t salt
1/6 c shortening (freeze for 15 minutes)
1/6 c butter (freeze for 15 minutes)
3 – 4 T cold water

Directions:
Directions:
In a food processor, mix together flour and salt. Add shortening in several pieces. Pulse until the mixture looks like small peas. Add water, one tablespoon at a time. Dough is ready when it starts to stick together. Dough should not be wet. Remove and form into a ball with your hands. Roll into a circle and put in crust and freeze 15 minutes.
 

Double Crust

2 c flour
1 t salt
1/3 c shortening (frozen for 15 minutes)
1/3 c. butter (frozen for 15 minutes)
6 – 7 T cold water

Directions:

Follow directions above.

For baked crust, bake at 400 for 20 minutes.
