½ c butter
2½ c heavy cream
6 egg yolks
¼ c + 2T powdered sugar
2 whole eggs
minced zest of 1 lime
1 c key lime juice
1 large graham cracker crust
¾ c sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter for the curd in a double boiler over medium - high heat. Add yolks, whole eggs, juice, and sugar. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until thick about 10 minutes. Transfer to a bowl, cover and chill until cold, about 2 hours.

Beat 1½ cups cream and 2 tablespoons sugar for the mousse until stiff peaks form. Fold cream, cold curd, and zest together in a large bowl. Put in crust and chill until set, at least 2 hours or overnight.

Combine remaining 1 cup cream with ¼ cup powdered sugar. Add more sugar for a sweeter whipped cream. Beat cream and sugar until stiff peaks form. Serve over pie.
