2 T butter
1 egg yolk
½ c heavy cream
½ c brown sugar
¼ c pecans, toasted and chopped
¼ c sweetened coconut, toasted and chopped
1 t vanilla
pinch salt

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the butter with the sugar for the sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in cream, yolk, and salt; boil for 1 minute or until thickened slightly.

Off heat, add pecans, coconut, and vanilla. Transfer to a bowl and cool to room temperature.

Serve with Chocolate Bread Pudding or thicken by adding additional coconut and pecans and use as a cake frosting.
