Ingredients:
3 cans sweetened condensed milk

Your favorite double pie crust recipe.

Directions:
Directions:
Without opening the cans of sweetened condensed milk, place in large pot full of water, making sure that the cans are completely covered with water during the cooking process. Boil for 1 1/2 hours and then let cool. This is what in Chile is called manjar, and in the states can be bought already made.

Make your favorite pie crust recipe for a double crust pie. Refrigerate 30 minutes minimum. Roll out small amounts of dough to make thin crusts about the size of a small plate. The size determines the size of the cake. Prick each one several times with a fork and bake in a 400º oven for 5-10 minutes, until golden brown.

As you remove the pie crust from the oven, ice each one generously with the manjar, stacking one on top of the other. After placing the last disc on the cake, cover completely with the rest of the manjar.
