2 c. sifted flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1 t. baking powder
1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
2 c. rolled oats
1 (12 oz.) chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour baking soda, salt and baking powder. Set aside. Blend shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture and mix well. Add oats and chocolate chips. Dough is crumbly. Drop on greased or non-stick cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes.
