12 cans crescent rolls
24 large yellow delicious apples or other cooking apple
3 lb margarine
9 c. splenda
6 tsp. vanilla
6 cans lemon-lime soda
4-6 c. chopped pecans
Cinnamon/sugar mixture:
1/2 c. sugar & 1/2 T. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and cut apple into quarters. Open and unroll crescent rolls. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on crescent roll, place apple in center and roll up like jelly roll. Arrange in baking pan. Melt margarine and splenda or sugar till dissolved: add vanilla. Pour over dumplings. Then cover with soda. Top with chopped pecans and remaining cinnamon sugar.
