3 cups rice crisp cereal
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
1/4 s. butter
2/3 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, crush cereal slightly with bottom of cup. Set aside.
In saucepan, bring sugar, corn syrup and butter to boil, stirring until smooth; boil for 1 minute, without stirring. Remove from heat.
Vigorously beat in 1/2 c. of the peanut butter and vanilla until smooth; stir into the cereal mixture until combined. Press into and 8 inch square cake pan. Let cool to room temperature.
In small saucepan, melt chocolate chips with remaining peanut butter and spread over cereal. Refrigerate until chocolate is set. Cut into squares.
