3 carrots
3 stalks celery
1 onion
4 chicken breasts

Directions:

Cover with water in a large pot and simmer for 3-4 hours.
Remove chicken and vegetables. Strain broth. To broth add 2 cans of chicken broth and a package of frozen egg noodles (or make your own). Cook 15-20 minutes. Cut chicken into bite sized pieces and add back to the broth.

This is how my grandma always made it, I use her recipe as a base and add vegetables and some parsley at the end.
