2 c whole wheat flour
1/4 c wheat germ
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla
4 c diced apples
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
1/2 c oil
1 c chopped nuts
2 eggs, well beaten

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350
Stir together flour, wheat germ, soda, cinnamon, salt & nutmeg & set aside

Combine vanilla, sugars (or 1 c honey), eggs - add dry ingredients.
Fold in apples & nuts.

Bake in greased & floured 9x13" pan for 50 minutes

Any time you use honey in a recipe you may need to lower the oven temp to 325 and watch it doesn't brown too much.
Serve with ice cream or whipped cream
