1 cup Boiling Water
1/2 cup Shortening
2 squares Chocolate
1 cup Brown Sugar
1 cup Granulated Sugar
2 cups Flour
1 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 cup Sour Milk or Buttermilk
2 Eggs, beaten
1 tsp. Vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over shortening and chocolate. Add brown sugar. Sift together remaining dry ingredients and add to batter. Add wet ingredients. Bake at 350º for 40-45 minutes.
