1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 -1 c. nuts
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. raisins
1 c. chocolate chips
2 tsp. baking powder
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, add sugar gradually. Add beaten eggs, milk, salt, spices and baking soda and baking powder. Mix well. Then add raisins, nuts, chips, etc. Add flour, and oatmeal and mix well. Drop on buttered pan by teaspoonfuls. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
