2 cans crescent rolls
2 large tart apples or 4 medium, peeled & cut into 8 pieces
2 sticks melted butter
1/2 c. sugar or Splenda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 12 oz can sprite (reg. or diet)
1 c. chopped pecans

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 T. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 1/2 c. sugar and 1/2 T. cinnamon and reserve 2T for on top dumplings.
Roll each apple slice in crescent roll with cinnamon sugar sprinkled on dough.
Put in greased 9 x 13 pan. In medium pan heat butter and 1/2 c. sugar till melted and bubbly.
Remove from heat and add Sprite and vanilla.
Pour over rolls and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon & sugar mixture.
Sprinkle nuts over top. Bake uncovered approximately 45 minutes at 350º
